This week carries a tune for the nostalgic Knight Rider types out there as well as encompassing the very popular Synth Wave Musical Genre. The 1980s made a comeback in a big way in our more recent mainstream as newer generations went back in time. Notably so, retro fashion and media were revitalized in a brand new way. The Movie, “Drive” and shows like, “Stranger Things” elegantly wrote a love letter to the unique style that decade gave us while providing new stories and imagery from a memorable period. And its music came back with its familiar brassy synthesizers and jovial melodies, but from brand new artists, all while reminding us of the particular charm that sound of music always had.
Besides the retro theme, “The Chase” carries a music style fit for several creative ideas. Racing Videos, Sci-Fi, Video Games, Commericals, and of course anything stylized with the 80s aesthetic definitely comes to mind.
